Most builders have used moisture resistant drywall in shower and bath tub areas for decades. However, It does not stand up to the test of exposed moisture! Concrete board is a far better product for these tiled areas. Therefore, Joe M. Parzy, Inc only uses concrete board in all of our shower – tub area remodels.
